Senior Timeline (Updated April 17, 2008)

April 25: Seniors receive 18 tickets for admission to Soldiers & Sailors (If a family needs less than 18 tickets, please return the extra to Office B)

Saturday, May 4: Liturgy of Thanksgiving for Seniors & Parents @ 4:00 pm

  • Fr. Robert George, Chaplain will be celebrant
  • Will receive notice shortly: send in RSVP: Mass will be McGonigle Theater
May 5-15 A.P. Exams

May 7, 8 &12 Senior Final Exams - Regular Class Days

Friday, May 9: Senior/Junior Prom @ Green Tree Radisson

  • Time: 6:30 - 12:00 midnight; all students must arrive by 7:15 and must remain until 11:45
  • Each student and parent will be required to sign a contract
  • Students with outstanding fees or those on Major Probation will not be permitted to attend
  • Friday, May 9 Founder’s Day - NO SCHOOL

May 12: Last Day of Regular Classes for Seniors

May 13 & 14: - Exam Schedule Days

May 15: No School for Seniors

May 16: No School for Seniors

Monday, May 19: Baccalaureate Rehearsal @ McGonigle Theater

  • Time: 8:30 AM
  • Students must be in dress code
  • Attendance is required
  • Caps & Gowns Distributed (to those who have all responsibilities settled)

Wednesday, May 21: Graduation Rehearsal @ Soldiers & Sailors, Oakland

  • Time: 9:00 AM
  • Attendance is Required
  • Students must be in dress code
  • Report Cards Distributed

Thursday, May 22: Baccalaureate Mass @ St. Paul Cathedral, Oakland

  • Time: 7:30 PM
  • All students are required to attend
  • Students may invite as many guests as they like; no ticket required
  • Liturgy lasts approximately, 1 ½ hours
  • Dress clothes required; suit coat unnecessary.

Friday, May 23 SCHOOL HOLIDAY for SENIORS

Sunday, May 25: Commencement Exercises @ Soldiers & Sailors Hall, Oakland

  • Time: 2:30 PM
  • Students are to report to side corridors by 2:00 PM
  • Caps & Gowns received at Rehearsal on Monday, May 19
  • Each student permitted to invite up to 18 guests; admission is by ticket only.
  • Dress code is required; suit coat unnecessary.
  • Ceremony lasts approximately 1 ¼ hr.

* All seniors should make sure that ALL tuition, fees, AP fees, textbooks, lost textbook fees, library books & fines, guidance fees, athletic uniforms, outstanding detentions and ALL OTHER OBLIGATIONS are satisfied PRIOR to the rehearsal on Monday, May 19. Failure to do so prior to this date WILL CAUSE A DELAY IN RECEIVING YOUR CAP & GOWN!!!
