Central Partners for Adolescent Development
What is CPAD?
Central Partners for Adolescent Development (CPAD) is an advisory group of parents, teachers, and students assisting the school's administration through an open forum communicating on all of the issues affecting students today. They are especially interested to monitor the misuse of alcohol, drugs, or driving under the influence of harmful substances. They form a vital link between the school and the home to keep all mutually informed about trends, attitudes and opportunities for evaluation and therapy when such needs arise.

Meet Your Friends at the County Jail!!
The Central Catholic Campus Ministry is seeking adult chaperones to accompany students on visits to the Allegheny County jail.
It is estimated that 85% of all inmates are there for problems related to substance abuse.
Reality INC. is a regularly authorized agency that, in cooperation with the jail administration conducts organized tours of the jail facility as an educational and retreat experience to help youngsters learn the possible consequences that can result from drug and alcohol addictions. Tours conclude with inmate dialogues.
Campus Ministry will sponsor tours on these dates:
October 15
November 19
January 21
February 18
April 15
All tours begin 5:15 PM, conclude at approximately nine o’clock. You will not regret the time it takes to see REALITY as it truly is and how it serves as a deterrent against catastrophic behaviors. Interested? Call Brother Michael Andrejko 412-208-3440 or email him mandrejko@pittcentralcatholic.org.
