Liturgy is offered to the school community on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 7:20 in the Brothers’ Chapel.

School wide Liturgies are celebrated at the beginning of the school year, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Ash Wednesday, and Easter.

Prayerful attention is also given to the sick and dying of the family and friends of Central Catholic. When the community is notified of sickness and/or death, he or she is prayed for during the daily prayer of the school as well as remembered during the weekly masses before school. An invitation is made to the family of the sick/deceased to join the community at Liturgy.

The Sacrament of Reconciliation is offered to all students during Advent and Lent.

The Central Catholic Chamber Choir along with other vocalists and instrumentalists assist in the celebration of the school liturgies. This year faculty will be more involved in singing with the choir as a folk group and cantering.

Students will be given the opportunity to celebrate Liturgy with their pastors in the school chapel. Pastors will be encouraged to have lunch with the students from his parish. This will enable the students and priests to get to know each other on a more informal basis. Pastors from feeder parishes will be invited to concelebrate at the Thanksgiving Liturgy.
