The Central Catholic High school community believes that we are called by the Diocese of Pittsburgh, our parents and our students to provide a quality Catholic education in a formal academic setting. In response to this call, we share our faith by forming a Christian community committed to the Gospel message of justice, concern and respect. We believe that we fulfill our mission by challenging each student to attain his individual potential, and by assisting each student in developing Christian values and the skills necessary for responsible living in the present and future world.

Central Catholic is a college preparatory school with a curriculum designed to equip the student with the necessary skills and knowledge needed to continue his education at the
    post-secondary level.

Required courses are offered on various levels of academic ability from academic support through Advanced Placement.

Students are also required to complete a four-year religious education program, encouraging them to embrace Christian values and practices.
